Bio

Originally from Wisconsin, some of my earliest running memories are with my dad. During those blustery, winter runs I remember him shouting back words of encouragement as he blocked the wind for me. I think those moments of being fed positivity, even when things got hard, shaped my mindset when it came to running.

Just as present was my mom’s unwavering support. She was the one up early making sure I had breakfast before my runs, washing endless loads of workout clothes, and always asking how every practice went. She celebrated every small win with genuine pride and comforted me through every setback and injury with words that reminded me of my worth beyond results. She taught me resilience not through sport, but through love, consistency, and belief in me no matter what.

Fast-forward through my middle school, high school, and collegiate running career, I graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a degree in exercise science and also received a master’s degree in environmental health and safety. In my first marathon I ran a Boston qualifying time. Post collegiately, I was an elite triathlete for 2 years. My current passion is road running and I am dipping my toes into ultramarathon distances.
